Submit Pipeline Questions

Representatives of Chickahominy Pipeline LLC have agreed to appear before the Board of Supervisors at their meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 12th, at 6 p.m. to provide an overview and answer questions on their plan to build a natural gas pipeline through five counties, including Hanover, in order to serve a proposed natural gas power plant in Charles City County.

No action or citizen comments will be taken by the Board of Supervisors during the meeting on this topic, as this is not a public hearing. However, the Board of Supervisors asks citizens to submit questions in advance which can be presented to the Chickahominy Pipeline representatives on January 12th.

The deadline to submit questions was Tuesday, Jan. 11th, at 4 p.m. All questions will be gathered and sent to the Board in advance of the Jan. 12th meeting.

The questions answered during the meeting will be made a part of the Board’s official minutes. All questions, whether asked during the Board meeting or not, will be submitted to Chickahominy Pipeline for a response. Questions and answers will also be made available on the County’s website.

Details about the proposed Chickahominy Pipeline project can be read here.
