Angela Kelly-Wiecek's Biography
Angela Kelly-Wiecek was elected as the Chickahominy District Representative on the Hanover Board of Supervisors in November 2011. She serves on the Board’s 2020 Celebration Committee, Joint Education Committee, Legislative and Roads Committees and as an alternate on the Safety and Security Committee. She also represents the Board on the Community Services Board, the Richmond Regional Tourism Board of Directors, the Consortium of Local Elected Officials and the Sports Backers Board of Directors. She was elected Vice-Chairwoman of the Board for 2021. She served as Chairwoman of the Board in 2017.

Ms. Kelly-Wiecek represents Hanover County as a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Richmond Partnership, the Consortium of Local Elected Officials, the Richmond Region Transportation Planning Organization (TPO), and is a current member and former Chair of the Richmond Regional Planning District Commission (RRPDC).
Previous Organizations She was Part of
A 2006 graduate of Hanover County’s Citizens Planning Academy, Ms. Kelly-Wiecek served on Hanover’s PDR Commission (2008) and High Speed Internet Committee (2010-2011). In 2010, Gov. McDonnell appointed her to the Board of Directors of GenEdge Alliance (formerly the A.L. Philpott Manufacturing Extension Partnership) where she served as the Marketing Sub-Committee Chair.
Family
Ms. Kelly-Wiecek and her husband Paul are the parents of a Hanover County Public School student. Together they all enjoy sports, history, the beach, traveling and reading. They are also active members of St. Bridget Church.
